Best features of Samsung Galaxy A13 5G
The Samsung Galaxy A13 is most of the time known only because of its very affordable price as a 5G smartphone, in fact because it is Samsung’s cheapest 5G device. And while that is all true, let us not overlook the other specs and features that make the smartphone what it is and complete it as a solid 5G device all in all. Priced at just a mere $250 phone, the Galaxy A13 comes with 5G support and a triple-lens camera, among other solid specs. I really want to highlight the camera section in this blog, because in the Galaxy A13, the cameras are often overlooked. I agree that there are other highlights that are better than the cameras but I think for the price point that the smartphone is available at, the cameras are pretty decent.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G comes equipped with a triple rear camera setup which is headlined by a 50-megapixel primary camera with an f/f/1.8 aperture. This is further followed by a 2-megapixel camera with an f/f/2.4 aperture, and another 2-megapixel camera with an f/f/2.4 aperture. Samsung has provided a single front camera setup for selfies, featuring a 5-megapixel sensor with an f/f/2.0 aperture. I think the camera features are pretty decent, don’t you think so? For casual photography and especially for a well-curated social media and an aesthetic grid, the 50MP sensor is a pretty solid addition I would say. The other features that often take the spotlight away from the camera section should also be mentioned I suppose.
Battery- I really loved the battery backup that the smartphone offers first of all. The Galaxy A13 5G is backed by a powerful 5000mAh battery which I think is a great addition to the device. For me personally, the battery of any device is a very important aspect that I take into consideration before buying any smartphone. So, I was very impressed with the backup of the Galaxy A13’s battery and how it makes for uninterrupted use. The battery also comes with support for 15-watt fast charging.
Processor- Besides the impressive battery specs, the Galaxy A13 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor, which is also found in the wallet-friendly RealMe 8 5G. The processor is further accompanied by 4GB of RAM. The Galaxy A13 5G runs One UI is based on Android 11 and packs 64GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded up to 1024GB via microSD card. The brilliant Dimensity processor further supports sub-6GHz 5G and not millimeter-wave 5G, which is significantly faster. I think for the price range, this was a suitable choice of chipset that Samsung chose to go with.
The affordable and stylish smartphone features a number of connectivity features like Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, GPS, and NFC. The sensors on the smartphone include a fingerprint sensor which is an obvious add. In terms of build and design, the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G measures a convenient 164.50 x 76.50 x 8.80mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs only 95.00 grams. I like lightweight smartphones that do not make my hand sore, and for that I can overlook the underwhelming cheap plastic body. As long as it is easy to carry I think I don’t have too many complaints however, a sturdier and glossy body would have been much better. The smartphone features a 6.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720x1600 pixels. The solid colour options are decent enough.
